Week in Review – 10/25/2014

It's the weekend and my second week of  sharing a few of the blogs I enjoyed reading over the past week.  I like to read two blogs per day for entertainment, to learn, and just to see what my online friends are up to.  It is always a great use of my time.

Sarah Arrow gives us four great questions to answer that will help us identify, plan, and create the content our readers will love.  After all, we all know that content is the foundation on which your blog is built.

Life is simple.  Jon Mertz challenges us to consider the choices we make in life.  Some choices are positive, while others are negative and they either move us closer to our dream or further away from it. Choices can include:

  1. What we choose to learn and when
  2. What jobs we choose to take and those we don’t
  3. What relationships we choose to engage in and those we avoid
  4. What we do to our bodies

Dr. Erica answers the question:  What does it take to heal from low self esteem, accept yourself after experiencing an abusive relationship or recover from a debilitating addiction?

Are you a blogger?  Donna Merrill discusses ways that you can take a leap forward in your business.  You will take action with:

  1. killer content
  2. driving traffic
  3. encouragement
  4. reciprocating
  5. building a list
  6. building a customer base
  7. monetization

Monna Ellithorpe recently changed her blog theme and she shares smart questions with us that helped her make a selection that met her needs.  Check it out and allow her little errors help you to make a better choice than she originally did and prevent future problems when you are working daily on your WordPress blog.

Are you holding beliefs about who you are based upon faulty assumptions or outright lies? Marquita Herald writes about changing a faulty belief to one that is empowering by first comimg to terms with what it is costing you to hang on to that negative belief. Most likely it adversely affected you (physically, financially or emotionally).

Happy reading and enjoy the weekend!

  1. It’s always interesting to to see what blogs are being followed by others. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I agree with you about trying to stay abreast of other people’s blogs. Its good to be neighborly and support each other, as well as learn from each other. I love lists so this article was good for me to read. I liked Donna Merrill’s points about how to grow your business best.
