Imagination and Your Business

Imagination and Your Business

Here we are at the beginning of 2015. I am hoping that everyone has achieved the results they set up for 2014 and that you all have your goals and plans in place for 2015.

Remember, one of the great things about being human is that we have imagination. Allow yourself to day dream and imagine your life how you really want it to look. Take conscious action, think big and create a fantastic vision.

Albert Einstein said:

Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.

Business success is about mindset, marketing and meaning so make sure you have all the right actions in place. Make 2015 your best year ever by imagining, planning and achieving.

  1. Hi Rachel,

I sure did accomplish more than I thought I could in 2015. It left me room at the end of the year to start working on my 2015 business plans.

When it comes to imagination, I do find it important to imagine myself doing different things in life. It is important to take time out and savor some time to do so. When I do this, I find I come up with so many ideas that I can apply to my life.

I once imagined myself living by the beach…taking walks and then sitting and pondering things as I heard the crashing waves which by the way are my favorite sounds. So here I am! Living there. If it wasn’t for my imagination, who knows where I would be?

  2. Excellent quotation Rachel. I agree imagination is a valuable resource and adds that extra bit of fun and spice to life. I’ve got pretty vivid imagination and I find it really helps especially when I’m working on a book. Thanks for the inspiration, and Happy New Year!

  3. In For this year, I know this will become a huge challenge as far as business is concerned, however I am positive to have to discover new strategies and effective solutions. Dealing with heavy equipment for my business last month was quit though but this January I hope something will came up. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your blog. I’ve read so much from the previous post.

  4. I like this quote, Rachel
it is right without imagination we get
not where we want to be.
With a nice picture in our mind we
can more in direction of our dream
    and take acttion.
    Thank you

  5. Imagination is so important, Rachel.

I often have clients ask me how to implement a strategy and after I outline it they ask me, but what about the next step, and what if xyz happens etc. I end up having to tell them to use their imagination. As much as we want the “step by step blueprint” it’s never really that simple. You need to have a structure to work within, but what really makes it successful is when you add your imagination to the mix and do a little something here and there that others never thought of.

For me 2014 was way different than I had in mind
huge changes some in business and in my personal life.
Now it’s time for new beginning for sure.
Have my goals and working on them,
and you are so right no matter what happens you need your
imagination to solve any problem that pop up in front of you.
    cheers for 2015.
    Make it a great day!

  7. Hi Rachel, last year was totally unexpected for me, but in a good way! Sometimes goals and plans will change for the better, and I’m glad my mind was opened enough to embrace the changes that come along for me. As a result, my goals for this year are MUCH bigger than they would’ve been, if I hadn’t changed last year.

  8. Rachel, this is one of your powerful articles!

We do not need much to imagine. Just something that sparks our minds to start visualizing a new idea to us. Yet, it may have been known to others. That is the beauty of being alive. We can gain more experience. Just by doing something new each day. Allowing our minds to change and grow.

You made a amazing point. We can and should let loose with our imaginations. When we were children. All we do is dream. Paying th price with our parents stating “Get your head out the clouds”. Something on those lines, right!

That should have been something more to encourage us to continue to dream. There was a small amount of us. Who people say are dreamers. So, we are the ones who fuel the world with new creative solutions. I rather live in solutions than to live in the past!

Thank you so much for sparking our minds to unlimited imagination. Well done!

    • I appear to view the reply you would have for my comment? This is the heartbeat of all blogs and I would love to continue the follow up.

The imagination is the first step in making a choice to begin a business. You then write each step to accomplish. Yes, use paper and pen. That way you have all the steps you visualized in front of you to follow the focused execution of getting it done. It is already accomplished on paper. Put into action and that is it!

  9. Great quote by Einstein. Nothing is ever accomplished without first having been imagined by someone. Imagination is key. I may think I don’t have any imagination, but it’s not true. More a case of unshackling it and letting it run free.

  10. I was checking back for replies? That action alone is the backbone of our blogs and this is an area I would love to see.

This imagination flowing together with strategic planning. Now, this will help most of us make our visions manifest. Just remembering to write down in steps all that needs to be done. The how’s will come once you put the written steps into focused daily actions.

Well done again. I know my last visit was not to long ago. I will be returning for a reply. Just a heads up.
